SCALEXTRIC DIGITAL A ground breaking step forward in the way SCALEXTRIC was traditionally played. Now, with the DIGITAL system, more than one car can race on the same lane as another car. In fact, up to six cars can race on the ‘best racing line’ and the drivers, at the press of a button, can command their car to change lane to overtake a slower car!

EASYFIT DIGITAL PLUG
Most cars produced from 2007 onwards will have as standard a socket on the car where the EASYFIT DIGITAL PLUG is connected to convert the standard car in to a digital car suitable for use on a SCALEXTRIC DIGITAL layout. The conversion only requires a small screw-driver and takes less than sixty seconds to perform.

The conversion process is simple:

1. Remove the blanking plate on the car chassis by undoing the retaining screw and disconnect the braid-to-motor wiring plug.
2. Connect the EASYFIT DIGITAL PLUG to the braid-to-motor wiring plug.
3. Replace the retaining screw to secure the EASYFIT DIGITAL PLUG to the chassis.
The blanking plate should be kept in a safe place as the EASYFIT DIGITAL PLUG can be transferred to another car.

Cars built to the new DPR standard for 2007 include: Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo, Range Rover, Chaparral, Audi R10, Porsche Spyder LMP2, Ford Mustang FR 500C.
